Unity in Love and Charity

Part of being an Over 40 Female is living a full, well-rounded life so others can emulate and learn. Bobbie is our newest example of that, here is what her husband said in his nomination of her (I didn't want to change a thing - his pride of her bursts right through his nomination below):

I nominate my 52 year old beautiful wife Bobbi for the OFF of the week. Bobbi is a stay at home wife, BUT she works harder than anyone I know.

She and I ran a hospice house in our home, caring for people in the last weeks of their lives. She has always been a ROCK behind me always saying WE CAN DO IT. During the time we had the hospice house we granted wishes to each resident we had. So when the business closed we created a non-profit organization that grants wishes to adults w/ a life-limiting illness. Since 2007 we have run this and BOBBI works the wishes tirelessly. She never takes NO for an answer. She has such a passion for these people that you swear to God she is related to each person, that's how much she cares. She runs Unity A Journey Of Hope unselfishly, ask any wish recipient or volunteer about her.

Bobbi is a 52 year old and a beautiful spirit not to mention physically too. IF not for her UNITY would be dead in the water.  She is the epitome of class and perseverance, her nickname is "PITBULL" because of her undying efforts to make each wish a success. The organization is run on limited funds and when you see the wishes we have accomplished 2-3 can equal our yearly budget, but she has a way of making the dog eat cat food and no one can say no to her, and the ones that do watchout!

Well I hope I painted a picture of Bobbi, she is worth OFF of the week if not YEAR!

Congratulations Bobbi, it sounds like you have angels everywhere!

I am glad to see that Bobbi was selected as OFF of the week. Her passion & dedication is remarkable. She doesn't stop until she completes her mission and then some. Once complete, she hops right into the next project, all with out pay... just to bring the smiles on the faces of those people with life limiting illnesses that she (sometimes single-handedly) grants wishes for. I am not sure how to vote, but she has my vote for OFF of the YEAR! Bobbi you deserve that and even more! Congratulations!
